INTERVIEW

The notion of being in two places at once or the ability to go back in time has fascinated the human race for decades. Time-traveling is a phenomenon that remains a favorite topic of debate among intellectuals, conspiracy theorists, and the public for its peculiarity and obscurity.......

FILM REVIEWS

Incognito is a calling-card short film if I’ve ever seen one. Just to be clear, that’s a compliment. Nearly everything writer/director Jacky Song and co-writers Jordan Dotson and Zachary Zhang do here exudes polish, professionalism, and talent; show it to any producer worth their salt.......

PRESS & INTERVIEWS
"A young girl time traveling from the Fifties to the modern day is our portal into this film, which uses suspense to pursue her secret step by step. But when the puzzle is unraveled, we see that the film is actually a vivid portrait of the LGBT world of 70 years ago. Moreover, the director has a mature talent for cinematic language. In many scenes, the plot pays homage to the movie classics."

- LU CHUAN, Golden Horse & Golden Rooster Award-winning Director
"The director’s use of imagery is exceedingly and surprisingly skillful. The story has no loose ends and is packed with tension. Although the film’s emotional resonance is slightly weak, it doesn’t detract from what is a truly outstanding short film."

- FAN HE, Founder of EnMaze Pictures
"The cinematography of LONELY IN THE DUSK is exquisite - rich, lush, textured, and emotional; beautifully designed lighting; the use of superimposition dissolves is something I always love to see and hear it adds a gauzy softness to the romantic notions; the score is period perfect and emotionally perfect, haunting and with the piano metaphorically feeling like tears of heartbreak."
