When a psychiatrist finds a camera in his patient’s cell, he develops the film, and begins to believe the woman’s claim that she is from the past.

LONELY IN THE DUSK
After years of being alone, a deaf-mute woman decides to seek companionship, and finds comfort in the arms of a courtesan, only to discover that her faith in outcasts may be misplaced.

THE LAST SILENCE
After his son dies in a car accident, an artist suffers a schizophrenic relapse, and begins to fear the worst around every corner. His paranoia spikes, and he kidnaps his wife and daughter to ensure they never face the dangers of the modern world ever again.

LETHAL CALLING
An arrogant woman with a history of betrayal is trapped in her car by a sniper. To escape, she must confess her sins, and come to terms with her selfish ways.

SUGAR BABY
When she realizes the local authorities are dragging their feet, a high school student drops out of school to catch an infamous, but elusive pedophile wreaking havoc on her small, industrial town.

THE HEART
To save his son, a commercial fisherman must take his own life and donate his heart for the transplant. However, after a life of cowardice, he’s unsure if he can go through with the ultimate sacrifice.

ABOUT
Jacky Song
Jacky Song is a 47th Student Academy Awards (the Student Oscars) nominee and winner of the Jury Award in the Narrative Shorts category at more than 30 film festivals around the world. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor's degree in Film Production and a minor in Screenwriting. In summer 2020, he completed the UCLA's School of TFT professional producing program and is now a second-year MBA student at Chapman University with a concentration in Entertainment Management. Since he moved to Los Angeles in 2013, he has gone on to produce and direct award-winning, genre-bending, emotionally intense films and tv series. His recent projects include The Last Silence and Lonely In The Dusk to be screened at a dozen of oscar-qualifying film festivals such as LA Shorts International Film Festival and Rhode Island International Film Festival, and continue to be accepted at other prestigious world-class festivals.
Jacky's films can often be described as surrealistic, exquisite, character-driven, and contain vivid imagery and socially-relevant themes, featuring distinctive camera movements and nonlinear editing style with classical orchestra score pieces. Additionally, Jacky infuses each project with his multi-cultural background and is devoted to using the power of film to connect disparate cultures by bringing untold, authentic stories to both an American audience and an international audience.
