Jacky Song
Jacky Song is a 47th Student Academy Awards (the Student Oscars) nominee and winner of the Jury Award in the Narrative Shorts category at more than 30 film festivals around the world. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor's degree in Film Production and a minor in Screenwriting. In summer 2020, he completed the UCLA's School of TFT professional producing program and is now a second-year MBA student at Chapman University with a concentration in Entertainment Management. Since he moved to Los Angeles in 2013, he has gone on to produce and direct award-winning, genre-bending, emotionally intense films and tv series. His recent projects include The Last Silence and Lonely In The Dusk to be screened at a dozen of oscar-qualifying film festivals such as LA Shorts International Film Festival and Rhode Island International Film Festival, and continue to be accepted at other prestigious world-class festivals.
Jacky's films can often be described as surrealistic, exquisite, character-driven, and contain vivid imagery and socially-relevant themes, featuring distinctive camera movements and nonlinear editing style with classical orchestra score pieces. Additionally, Jacky infuses each project with his multi-cultural background and is devoted to using the power of film to connect disparate cultures by bringing untold, authentic stories to both an American audience and an international audience.

FILM REVIEWS
Incognito is a calling-card short film if I’ve ever seen one. Just to be clear, that’s a compliment. Nearly everything writer/director Jacky Song and co-writers Jordan Dotson and Zachary Zhang do here exudes polish, professionalism, and talent; show it to any producer worth their salt.......
